Impact analysis of a simply supported reinforced concrete beam hit by a heavy object travelling at 108 km/h Note: 1. This is damage contour , not stress or strain contour. Dont be confused. 2. This is not a serious work as I was just doing it for fun. 3. (Because of 2) I did not do mesh sensitivity study, nor checked energy curves. 4. (Because of 2) Bond between rebars and concrete was chosen as frictionless to speed up computational time. 5. The velocity 108km /h was chosen randomly (=30m/s)
